President
Laura Gomez

Laura is a current fourth year at Northeastern, majoring in Architecture with a minor in Sociology. She is originally from Medellin, Colombia and has spent the last year traveling and studying in multiples countries including her Colombia and Berlin. She is passionate about social issues in architecture and design and loves dogs, concerts, and traveling.

Co-Vice President
Luke Viscusi

Luke’s life revolves around architecture and ice hockey. He is currently a Senior and recently finished his second co-op at Hacin + Associates in Boston, MA. His previous role as AIAS Vice President spring-boarded him into the position of President. He is focused on facilitating collaboration between the AIAS chapters of Boston as a means of fostering studio culture at each chapter. When he is not working or sending emails he can be found working or sending emails. Luke is also an Urban Landscape Studies minor and is interested in affordable housing.

Co-Vice President
Kathryn Platt

Kathryn is a fourth year who is excited to return to AIAS after a year of study abroad and co-op. She is most drawn to the construction side of architecture and to projects centered around adaptive reuse and/or community-building. Outside of Ruggles, her hobbies include travel, videography, editorial design, and quoting John Mulaney.

Rylee Smith

Rylee is a second year Architecture major from Minnesota, minoring in Urban Studies and Ethics. She is interested in designing for social justice and sustainability, with a goal of improving the urban environment. When not in studio, she likes to listen to music and plan out playlists for her WRBB radio show.

Treasurer
Enya Xu

Enya Xu is a 2nd year at Northeastern. Her hometown is Montclair, NJ, but she has lived all over the Northeast. A few of her many and diverse loves include cats, good food, sweaters, and hugs! Enya feels best when she is helping someone or when she is laughing with friends.

Webmaster
Molly Gagnon

Molly is a second year pursuing a BS in Architecture, along with a minor in French. If she’s not attending classes in Boston, she’s probably home in Saratoga Springs, NY, with her pet rabbit and two cats. She’s a part-time tree-hugger and avid recycler, and interested in sustainability and urbanization. While not as athletic as she’d like to think she is, Molly also enjoys snowy winters, cross country skiing and figure skating.
